Healthy Apple Peach Cake makes the most delicious breakfast or dessert treat. Sweet peaches, apples + warm spices make the perfect combination.
This cake guys… lemme tell you about this cake. For starters… it’s freakin’ delicious. Like soooo darn good. I was drooling over it as I was taking these pictures. It’s the perfect mix of late summer/fall flavors. You’ve got the summery peaches, and the crisp fall apples, so the combo of the two is totally on point. AND it’s so easy to make. Am I making you hungry yet?
When Green Valley Organics sent me a bunch of their products to create something delicious, I didn’t even know where to start! All of their dairy products are lactose free, organic, and made with the best ingredients! I was debating making something really decadent with the butter or cream cheese, but I decided to keep it a little lighter for you guys and use their lowfat yogurt as one of the main ingredients in this cake.
Using yogurt in baked goods is one of my favorite ways to add richness to recipes without necessarily adding in all of the calories and fat that butter, cream cheese or sour cream would. (Don’t get me wrong- I love those things, and there’s nothing better than a buttery cookie or sour cream coffee cake, just not all the time!) The yogurt has a similar consistency to cream cheese and sour cream, but it’s lower in fat and higher in protein – which makes it the perfect substitute for baking!
I knew the Green Valley Organics Lowfat Peach Yogurt would go so well in this cake, so I started there, and worked with what I had around the kitchen. We had some super ripe peaches + a few apples laying around. I couldn’t decide which fruit to use – so I wound up using them both in the cake. It was the perfect medley!
I’ve always loved having cakes around the house. Whether it’s for breakfast, a snack, or dressed up and made a dessert – they’re a total comfort food for me. My Healthy Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread has always been a favorite, but this Apple Peach Cake is definitely getting put in to the rotation this fall!

Throwing those peach slices on top were a total last minute thing, but I love how they turned out! I think they make the cake extra fancy looking 🙂 You could easily do that with apple slices, or if you’re feeling really fancy you could use these mini fall cookie cutters on larger fruit slices to make a fun design!
