Healthy Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ c of finely chopped onion ( I puree in a food processor)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 c bread crumbs
  • ⅓ c grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ c chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ c chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoons oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • a few shakes of red pepper flakes
Instructions
  1. Spray a lined cookie sheet with olive oil. (Or use nonstick foil).
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Roll into approx 1.5 inch balls. and place on cookie sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 7-10 minutes, then flip and bake for another 7-10 minutes on the other side.
  5. Allow to cool + enjoy
