  • 1 9 inch deep dish frozen pie crust prepared according to package directions
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 egg whites (can also use whole eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and diced
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Note: We did not blind bake the pie crust.
  • In a medium bowl whisk the eggs until smooth.
  • Whisk in milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Spread the cooked bacon onto the pie crust.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Loosely cover the quiche with foil for the last 10 minutes of bake time if the crust is getting too brown.
  • Transfer the quiche to a rack and let cool for 15 minutes. Garnish with chopped dill and chives.
  • Serve in wedges.
