In a sauce pot, whisk together milk, cocoa powder and maple syrup vigorously until combined.
Heat over medium high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once warm, pour into a mug and enjoy!

Use your milk of choice, whole milk or dairy-free milk work great. Almond milk and oat milk are the best dairy-free options we have tried.Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: I haven't tried substituting cocoa powder with anything but I think raw cacao powder would work. Adding a pinch of salt gives this recipe some nice depth of flavor as well!Maple Syrup -You can substitute maple syrup with honey or agave nectar.
