In a small saucepan or microwave, heat milk until warm.
Whisk in peppermint extract, cocoa powder + maple syrup.
Whisk until warm and frothy. You can use a milk frother if microwaving to incorporate the ingredients.
Pour milk mixture into a mug, and top with espresso and enjoy!

The maple syrup can be swapped for honey or agave nectar.This is made dairy-free with almond milk or oat milk, if you don't have any dietary restrictions then whole milk works great.If microwaving, you can froth this with a milk frother after warmed to incorporate all of the ingredients and give it a bit of that latte texture without having to whisk!
