What makes Caraway Pots and Pans and Caraway Bakeware Different?
Caraway Cookware is a non-toxic kitchenware company. They have nontoxic, non-stick ceramic coated cookware and bakeware.
The cookware is both visually stunning, but also allows you to cook with the freedom of nonstick, minus the harmful chemicals.

Why We like Caraway Pots
There’s a lot to love about Caraway Cookware
- nontoxic – Traditional nonstick cookware is often coated in chemicals that our food can absorb. These are a much better option for those that are concerned about what goes into our body! They have a ceramic nonstick coating.
- easy to clean – these pans are super easy to clean. I let them cool and gently wash with soap and water. I rarely ever have to scrub them
- easy to cook – it’s very easy to cook with these. Compared to stainless steel pans and our other ceramic cookware, they’re much easier to cook with!
- actually is nonstick cookware – some companies claim to be nonstick but the food sticks. Caraway actually is nonstick. Food effortlessly glides around the pan and does not stick as long as you use a little bit of oil or butter!
- beautiful- there’s no denying how pretty the pans are. They are beautiful!
Negative Caraway Reviews
Even though we really like Caraway pans- this is an honest caraway cookware review. So we’re sharing what we don’t like about it too!
- expensive– Caraway cookware is not cheap. Most nonstick cookware sets retail for about $200, and Caraway is double the price. However, most nonstick cookware sets are not nontoxic, and Caraway is.
- not dishwasher safe– Most nonstick cookware is not dishwasher safe. The high heat in the dishwasher can wear away the coating.
- eventually will wear away– All nonstick cookware will eventually lose it’s ‘nonstick-ness’. The only timeless cookware is really stainless steel or cast iron, which is expensive, but will last a lifetime.
- might stain – the bottoms of my Caraway pans have stained, and one of the cream colored pans actually got a small burn mark in it even though we followed all the rules when cooking with it. Not a huge deal, but visually doesn’t look great.
Caraway Non-Toxic Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set Reviews
If you’re wondering is caraway cookware safe – here’s what we’ve found.
What are Caraway pots and pans made with?
Caraway Cookware is made with an aluminum core and ceramic coating on the inside and outside of the pan.
The pans are covered in a nontoxic, nonstick coating that is teflon, PTFE and PFOA free.
All of their pans also have a stainless steel plate at the bottom which is what makes the pans induction compatible.
Caraway vs Greenpan
I have not tried GreenPans, but have read many reviews and they’re mostly positive! They seem to be similar to Caraway pans, but more affordable. They’re made with similar materials and offer similar features. Both are nontoxic and nonstick.
At a glance it looks like Caraway’s pans are thicker/sturdier than Greenpan’s.

Caraway Cookware Amazon
You can buy Caraway Cookware on Amazon or shop at one of their other retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, West Elm or Create & Barrel.
Caraway Bakeware Review
We’ve been using the Caraway Bakeware for over a year now and absolutely love it! The muffin tins are probably my favorite piece in the set.
We use the muffin tins all the time for Egg Muffins or our favorite Healthy Pumpkin Muffins, pictured below.
They’re awesome because you just need to spray with a little bit of oil and they come right out of the pan – nothing sticks to them!

Caraway Storage Review
We were able to test out the Caraway Food Storage and have really enjoyed using them for storing leftovers.
I like that the storage stacks neatly in the organizer, and comes with smaller containers that are great for dressings/sauces. The containers are super pretty and I love that they can go from fridge to microwave and even are oven safe!
The only thing I don’t like about the storage set is that I find they are difficult to open. They seal super well which is amazing, but I struggle to get the tops off the containers somtimes!
Are Caraway Pots worth it?
Yes, Caraway Pans are worth the money. If you are looking to swap out to nontoxic cookware, they’re extremely well made, easy to use and beautiful. Even with their minimal flaws I listed above, I think they’re worth the price.
The Cookware Set is awesome and has everything that you would need as a home cook, but if you already have pots and pans you enjoy and just want to try one pan – I highly recommend the Sauté Pan. We use it all the time!
We also really like their linens set. The apron is extremely sturdy (and cute!) the towels are absorbent and the pot holders work well!
Who is Caraway Cookware Good for?
Caraway Cookware is good for people who:
- like to cook but don’t want to stand by the stovetop all the time
- need pots/pans that easily store
- cares about nontoxic cookware
- don’t like to scrub dishes
- enjoys pretty things!
Caraway Cookware Discount
Unfortunately Caraway does not do discount codes frequently, but you can save by purchasing their pans in a set vs one pan at a time.

Caraway Cookware Tips:
- Don’t put in dishwasher– this will break down the coating
- Use low to medium heat– Cooking on high heat can wear away the non-stick coating
- Don’t use metal/sharp utensils – You should never use sharp utensils on non-stick cookware. Always use wooden, silicon, or plastic utensils to avoid scraping the pots and pans.
- Get an olive oil sprayer – Caraway recommends not using sprays/cooking aerosols to preserve the coating. We have an olive oil sprayer that we love for cooking with instead. I refill it with my favorite olive oil.
- Preheat before using– Caraway tells you to preheat your pan for about 90 seconds before adding oil.
Caraway Cookware Return Policy
Caraway offers a 30 day return/replacement policy. You can email help@carawayhome.com

Caraway Cookware Pots and Pans FAQ
Caraway pans are made in China and India. They are designed in New York
Caraway cookware is owned by Jordan Nathan who is the founder and CEO.
Yes, Caraway pans can go in the oven up to 550 degrees.
No, unfortunately Caraway cookware is not dishwasher safe. The dishwasher can wear away the non stick coating overtime, so it’s best to hand wash.
If your Caraway pan is sticking, you might need to add more oil or there may be an issue with the pan. You can contact Caraway for help!
When used correctly, Caraway cookware should last a long time! All non stick pans eventually lose their coating, but I’ve been using my Caraway pans for almost a year and have no issues. Make sure to always preheat the pan, use oil, use soft utensils and don’t overheat the pan to maintain their life span.

Tracy says
I was in need of roasting pans. That is when I came across Caraway. I had never heard of them before. I kept looking for something better and cheaper. But when it came down to it, I felt Caraway was the best aoption with being non-toxic and non-stick. Being pretty was just a nice perk! My family rolled their eyes at my color choice. But until they do the cooking, they have no say! There’s been zero complaints about what comes off those pans for dinner. I had to contact Caraway about an issue with one of the pans. They were very responsive and helpful. Customer Service is top-notch, just like their pans. It’s highly likely that I’ll be buying more of their products.
