It is so easy to make cherry tomato sauce that is healthy, fresh and so much better than any spaghetti sauce you could get at the store!

- olive oil
- minced garlic, onion
- cherry tomatoes
- fresh basil leaves, fresh parsley
- dried oregano, salt + pepper

How to Make Spaghetti Sauce with Fresh Tomatoes
- Saute minced garlic and onion in olive oil over low heat until fragrant and slightly softened.
- Once onion and garlic have softened, add cherry tomatoes to the pot along with basil, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Stir to combine and cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.




SUBSTITUTIONS FOR CHERRY TOMATO SAUCE
Olive Oil: You can substitute avocado oil, butter, or ghee for the extra virgin olive oil.
Cherry Tomatoes: You can use roma, heirloom, plum tomatoes, or any type of fresh tomato in this recipe. Just make sure to chop it into small pieces.
To Make it Lower Carb: Serve over a low carb pasta or zoodles.
To Make it Lower Calorie: Spray your pan with olive oil instead of pouring it into the pan.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- ¼ cup onion diced
- 4 lbs fresh tomatoes halved
- ¼ cup fresh basil
- ¼ cup fresh parsley
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

- In a large pot, heat olive oil.
- Saute minced garlic and onion over low heat until fragrant and slightly softened, about 5 minutes.
- While garlic and onion cook, chop tomatoes.
