This Baked Feta Dip is SO creamy and delicious. Easy to make, this is the perfect feta cheese dip recipe for an appetizer!

We absolutely LOVE a good dip! My favorites have to be our Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip and Healthy Spinach Artichoke Dip, but this is definitely becoming a favorite!
If you remember the viral TikTok Pasta from last year, this is our twist on that delicious dinner, but in appetizer form! I’m always looking for fun ways to add more veggies to my diet, and this is a fun way to get veggies in while you are snacking on an appetizer.
This creamy dip is so simple, easy, and flavorful! You probably already have these ingredients on hand, and it only takes 45 minutes to make.
If you see honey on the ingredient list and question it… just trust me! Hot Honey is the perfect topping to add a bit of sweetness to this savory dip!

- This is best served warm and fresh from the oven!
Ingredients

SUBSTITUTIONS
Olive Oil: You can substitute avocado oil, butter, or ghee.
Feta: I have not tried this recipe with fat free feta. I don’t think it would work very well as the fat is what makes this creamy. I haven’t tried this with burrata, but I think it would work well. You shouldn’t substitute with cream cheese! Feta and cream cheese are very different. Cream cheese typically has a higher fat content and is much smoother, while feta is a little bit grittier. They can’t be used interchangeably.
Garlic: Sub fresh garlic with 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
Cherry Tomatoes: We really love how cherry tomatoes cook in this recipe. However, you may be able to use roma, heirloom, plum tomatoes, or any type of fresh tomato in this recipe. Just make sure to chop it into small pieces.
Hot Honey: You can omit the honey if you prefer, but we really recommend it as it totally changes the dish!
How To Make Baked Feta

- In a small dish, place a block of feta in the center. Add tomatoes around the feta. Drizzle with olive oil and spice (reserve the honey til the end).

- Cover and bake at 450° for 30 minutes. Once baked, remove the cover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

- Drizzle the feta with hot honey and serve warm with crackers.
Toppings for this Feta Dip Recipe
This Feta Dip is delicious as written with the hot honey topping, but would also be delicious topped with red pepper flakes for a spicy kick, or sprinkle chopped fresh basil or herbs of your choice on top.
What to serve
Any of these dippers would be delicious with this baked feta dip:
- Crackers/Pita Chips/Bagel Chips
- Pita Bread or baguette slices
- Chips – these chips are delicious or just regular potato chips!
- Pretzels – I love these flat ones for dipping!
- Fresh Veggies – Celery, cucumber, peppers, broccoli, and carrots would all be great!
- Alongside Red Wine Sangria

Big hit at our house! A definite do over!
Does it have to be a block of feta, I have only bought in crumble pieces?
Crumbled feta will not work the same in this recipe. It’s often coated in mold inhibitors/anti caking agents so it doesn’t melt the same! Try at your own risk.
My husband and I loved 😍 this recipe. It was so yummy.
This was so easy and a real hit! Thanks for the terrific recipe!
It was so good !😊
I tried this the other day and I was awesome! I subbed dried oregano since I had no dried basil. I ju at got back from Greece and they use a lot of oregano. Worked well. Thanks for sharing this recipe! And yes, it looked ju at like your pic.
What do you think about using sun dried tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes?
I think they might get a little too chewy and hard in the oven
