SUBSTITUTIONS FOR AVOCADO RANCH DRESSING

Olive Oil: You can use avocado oil in place of olive oil. We don’t recommend using canola or other oils for dressings.

Greek Yogurt: You can use any plain yogurt in this recipe as a substitute.

Lime Juice: We recommend using the juice of a fresh lime, store bought lime juice is not as flavorful and won’t taste as fresh!

Lower in fat: Avocados are naturally high in healthy fats. We do not recommend substituting them because this recipe was meant to made with avocados as the key ingredient.

How to Store Avocado Ranch Dressing

Storing: This will last in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.

Note on separation: Separation may occur when stored in the fridge. Use a spoon to stir together or quickly blend again to reconstruct the dressing.

This dressing may brown overtime. This is because avocados oxidate as they’re exposed to air. This dressing is fine to eat even if the color changes slightly.

I made this on whim one evening and it was so delicious I love that the ingredients are simple not hard to put together. I actually used it as a dip for my chicken, as I’m on a no carb diet but I don’t care I used a small amount to flavor the chicken thighs. I will definitely be making this again. You can really use it for anything next time I make it I believe I will put it on our chicken salad, it’s very good better than those store-bought salad dressings and dips that have a bunch of chemicals . I highly recommend you give this a try.!
