SUBSTITUTIONS
Nonfat Greek yogurt: any plain yogurt can be used in this recipe as a 1:1 substitute. You can also use plain cottage cheese, however we warn you the texture might change!
Blue Cheese: This is the main key ingredient for this recipe, we do not recommend substituting!
Fresh Lemon Juice: Store bought lemon juice is not ideal as a substitute, fresh lemon juice will not only improve the flavor, but add more Vitamin C.
Garlic Powder: Freshly minced garlic also works well
Milk: Any dairy or nondairy milk can be used in this recipe.
Low Sodium Blue Cheese Dressing: Blue cheese is naturally high in salt. There is no added salt in this recipe, but it’s not a low sodium recipe

What a lovely recipe! I’ve been trying to find a healthier version of Bleu cheese dressing for a while. I added a touch of stevia, about 1/4 teaspoon, because I found the Greek yogurt and lemon juice too sour for my palate. Otherwise, it’s perfect! Thank you for such a wonderful addition to my recipe arsenal 🙂
